Dear Grief, (longing)

Dear Grief,

Offering of Longing

In the quiet hours of night,
I sit with longing’s heavy sigh.
Your absence feels like a shadow
That stretches long and wide.

Yet in this ache, a sacred space,
Where memories softly glow,
I cherish the love we once shared,
In the longing, I find a gentle hope.
