Heartbeat: A Space for Grief & Grace

Like the steady rhythm that sustains us, writing can become a gentle, constant companion in times of grief and transformation. Join us monthly as we gather virtually to explore the healing pulse of words, creating a space where every emotion finds its natural rhythm on the page.

Create Space for Healing

Moving can release stored tension and emotion. Grief is a full-body experience. While, writing gives us permission to pause, breathe, and acknowledge our feelings without judgment. It offers a private sanctuary where we can express what might feel too tender to share aloud.

Honour Our Stories

Through the process, we can preserve memories, celebrate connections, and create lasting tributes to what we've lost. Each word written and shared and felt is an act of remembrance and love.

Navigate Complex Emotions

This space helps us map the landscape of our grief, making space for all emotions – from anger to gratitude, from confusion to acceptance. It allows us to explore contradictions and find meaning in our experiences.

Find Clarity and Direction

The simple act of moving and writing can help us discover new perspectives, identify needs, and gradually find our way forward while honouring what we carry.

Our Monthly Practice

Each session offers a gentle structure that includes:

  • Grounding meditation to help us arrive fully present

  • Some gentle movement (you can easily do it in a chair if needed)

  • Writing prompts that invite exploration and reflection

  • Optional sharing – no pressure, ever. Share what we write, what we feel, what we are experiencing.

  • Closing ritual to honour our practice
