In this transformative, 12-week journey, we invite you to explore the power of grief-informed yoga.
Designed to support those navigating loss (of all kind), this program creates a
brave, compassionate space for you to reconnect with yourself and find community support.

What You’ll Experience

  • Pre and Post assessments
    Reflect on your journey with guided assessments before and after the program, allowing you to see your personal progress and helping us refine the program based on real participant experiences.

  • 2 Sessions per Week (24 classes in total)
    Guided by a trauma-informed, choice-centered approach, each session offers gentle, mindful movement tailored to support emotional regulation, stress relief, and a grounded sense of well-being.

  • Community & Connection
    Build supportive bonds with peers through shared experiences and social connection activities is an essential part of the healing process. Each class will have dedicated time for reflection, sharing and community connection.

  • Comprehensive Support Materials
    Participants receive a Welcome Package with a program manual, practice journal, resource cards, and a support directory. Weekly resources like theme handouts, practice notes, and journaling prompts will help deepen your experience. All is an invitation.

Joining this pilot series allows you to contribute to the foundational phase of Grieving Hearts Yoga™️ and play an essential role in research on its effectiveness. Your feedback will shape the program's future, and as a thank-you, you’ll receive an exclusive, one-time rate of $125 for the full 12-week program (regularly priced at $250).

Spaces are limited to 20 participants, ensuring a close-knit, personalized experience.

This experience is open to those grieving loss due to death, divorce, job loss, or any other significant life transition.

About the Program Facilitator

Glenda is a leading voice in the emerging field of grief-informed yoga, pioneering evidence-informed approaches that bridge modern bereavement research with embodied movement practices. As the architect of groundbreaking curricula in grief-informed yoga care, she is helping shape how the yoga community approaches loss and bereavement support and how grief counsellors and therapists incorporate movement into client’s healing journeys.

With over three decades of yoga practice and extensive clinical experience, Glenda brings multiple perspectives to her work:

  • Practicing Death Doula and Grief Counsellor

  • Experienced Yoga Teacher (10+ years) (e-RYT, RYT-500)

  • Yoga Therapist candidate (850 hour C-IAYT accredited program)
